Fertilization and Drought Resistant Fertilizers

Crabgrass Prevention and Weed Control

Lime

Turf Damaging Insect Control

Summer brings you the opportunity to enjoy a lush, green lawn.  Unfortunately, summer also brings insects that love to eat your grass’s leaves, stems and roots.  Our specialists are experience and trained to recognize and treat your lawn for armyworms, grubs and other turf damaging insects all year round.

Turf Damaging Diseases and Fungus

Summer brings hot humid days and warm humid nights in the Southeast.  Certain conditions increase the susceptibility of a lawn developing a disease or fungus.  Some conditions that increase the likelihood of a disease or fungus include humid days, long periods of time moisture is on the lawn, improper mowing, long periods of shade, improper fertilization, poor drainage, etc.

Both the turf damaging insects and turf damaging disease and fungus are not included in the regular lawn program.  Not all lawns experience problems due to these items.  We don’t include the cost in the lawn program for these items.  If problems arise, they are treated on an as needed basis for an additional cost.  The normal effective length of a fungicide or insecticide treatment is 18-22 days.  Normally that is enough time to rid the lawn of the insect/disease/fungus.  If the environment continues to promote the turf damaging pest, additional applications may be needed.
